>>55634437Yeah, that’s fair. There’s a lot of points where a lot of people in Alola are at odds with each other, be it Team Skull, or even what people think of Macro Cosmos. But what I’m trying to write is that they’d all come together at the worst of times. Maybe it’s a bit of a departure from the games in the end, but I really want to write about unity. After all, Alola went through a change or two in the span of 3 years — namely, Team Skull left Po Town and it’s been inhabited ever since. They’ve slowed down their activities and they’re nothing more than a nuisance after Guzma’s defeat. Hmm, I wonder what use I should make of him in my writing…
Plus, that’s precisely what should strengthen them in the end. Hemlock would try to frame it as if he shares common ground with Koa, like, “both our families are rough”, but Koa always makes an effort to mend his relationships. It’s basically pic related. Precisely because Koa’s had a hard time with his dad, he would try to push everyone together against a common enemy. And yeah, as Alexanon said, they’d probably lose a bunch of trade deals with Macro Cosmos, but it’s a question of whether the life you live is the one you want to have, not how much net benefit you have at the end of the day.
>>55634456I don’t really tend to touch on any real-world allegories or something, but it’s a bit similar. I guess. Hmm, maybe I’ll take some cues from this info after all and do my own research. Thanks, anon!
