Basically the special is some big celebration at the Canalave library which Ash and Go go to, run into Dawn, run into Cynthia, catch the three Hisui starters. Meanwhile Team Galactic capture Heatran to power up something to try and reach Cyrus, which causes effects on the pokemon, it prompts Ash, Dawn and Go to investigate, they try to help some pokemon and take them to a pokemon center, where they run into Brock and he joins them in investigating.
Team Galactics plan with Heatran goes out of whack and it basically gets infused with power from an Arceus plate and it ends with a confrontation of the gang and the Galactic Admins.
