Well-intended villains like Maxie, Archie, Lysandre, USUM Lusamine and Chairman Rose. All done poorly with either terrible motives, conflicting actions or just being plain fucking stupid in general. The worst of them is unironically USUM Lusamine because she still does the same horrible shit that SM Lusamine did, except she's more aware of that and gets off scott-free for it. The rest are just idiots for different reasons.

I think everyone knew that the moment Lusamine made that creepy face when she saw Nihlegeo, yeah she protected her kids but we all know she was doing it just to make sure the jelly took her instead. Even more damning is that she said her dream was to meet Ultra Beasts, not anything about stopping Necrozma or revenge on Ultra Beasts for taking Mohn away from her. Good ole Lucy will be like this again. I wonder if she still has frozen pokemon in her office since that part happens in both games.

It's difficult because that smile she flashed when jelly showed up mirrored this one, then she said earlier that meeting UB was her dream, not a thing about Mohn, in fact in US/UM when the kids ask if she remembers what happened to their father Lusamine blows up at them and yells that because that happened is why she's doing this now.

It seems like the scene is still there but it's just reused because the mother beast scene is still in the game as well despite clearly not happening here. Dialogue and everything. It's fucking weird they went to the trouble of removing Lusamine making faces like this but couldn't be assed to fix the , she didn't even know about Type::Null here, Faba did that shit in secret and speaking of him, after rainbow rocket is over the only time Lusamine's crazy face comes back is when she looks right at him and is about to punish him

They cut this scene but not the frozen pokemon scene. Why? If Lusamine isn't completely bat shit this time and instead a misguided and revenge obsessed anti-hero why keep the frozen mons? It doesn't even make sense for that in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon
