+ Team Rocket appears less.
+ Improved animation, with backgrounds during battles.
+ Less predictable.
+ Possible Ash/Serena relationship, keeps things interesting.
- Serena's short hair, was not needed for character development.
- Lack of battles.
- Goodra might be leaving before the movie.
- Tripokalons are inferior contests.
