>>37433151I can see why this is genuinely unpopular, these designs are awful. They took ugly looking pizza-like tails and but it on vaguely animalistic bodies and then finalized it by giving each one an angry old man face.
I realize its accurate to the mythological spirits they are based on, but man they really didn't try to make them look good.
Anyways, I generally dislike box legendaries and most legendary/mythical designs as a whole. I find them to be way over-designed and filled with too many shitty gimmicks. The only exceptions in my eyes are the Mew-likes (Victini, Celebi etc), Latias/Latios, Shaymin, Melotta, Diancie, Marshadow, Lunala and Cosmog.
