>>31627039One of my favorite ships. While Shauna was meant to be Calem's waifu, it's pretty clear her role was overshadowed by Serena. Shauna is generally friendly towards everyone and you meet her with others the most, so it doesn't seem as explicit as the developers might've wanted it to be. Serena, though, is the one you meet alone the most, such as going to Cafe together in the beginning, and is the one you spend more time with. Her slowly going from calling you Neighbor to using the name also acts as a good indication of the friendship you build up. She starts out wanting to become a trainer, and by the end, you're pretty much her goal. While none of it is explicitly romantic, you have a much better connection with her compared to Shauna. What's more, even if you play as Serena, this ship survives, while Shauna's doesn't.
I also think they look the best together of all couples. Calem's white and blue theme goes really well with Serena's black and red, and they both look sexy rather than cute.
