There are a FUCK TON of searched packs that japanese sellers throw on ebay because they can get them for cheap from card stores that were searching for singles stock. Foreigners are their cash cow. Even in Japan people are scalping just so they can sell it for 2x the price on international ebay.
I kinda feel bad for the people buying loose packs but they deserve it for not doing enough research.
Buying from Pokemon JP/ Opening packs from a sealed box is the safest way.
