If the Pokemon anime had a season focused on battles, becoming a battle anime essentially, would it be more successful than the current anime? I've seen a few episodes and personally I love the battle direction, but its the only reason I watch the damn show. Mainly bc its target audience gets in the way of my enjoyment most of the time. It's not bc I hate the new gens or anything, it's bc im in my 20s. I'd love to see the anime focus on battles, pouring effort into making them huge spectacles of power and determination. After all, the battles and powerful monsters is what made me fall in love with Pokemon in the first place.
