I love the grass starters, and have chosen it for every generation except the second (because I loved cyndaquil's design so much more than chikorita's). They're so unpopular because grass is weak to so many types it's at a point that it's ridiculous. I don't understand why it was necessary to give it all those weaknesses; I mean I know that it makes sense for ice, fire, and bug, but they could've been at least a bit more lenient when it came to flying and poison or something. And too many types also resist it's attacks.
