They need that outlet to get stronger as they may not evolve with time. They'd also have to be supremely nerfed in terms of world ending cataclysmic levels of abilities and power. A lot of Pokemon could just destroy the planet in a few minutes or hours and there is not that could be done to stop some of them. So its like raising super powered children to young adults. I'd also assume we don't get Pokeballs, because I doubt we'd be allowed to own something like these guys legally.
