You actually need a super extreme angle to have no "edge" to the end of your eye, its basically only limited to side views.
In terms of realistic depictions for this kinda thing you need to prioritize "relevant angles" just because some anime shots have the eyes super front facing doesn't mean you should focus on getting that.
Serperior is rarely shown from the front for a reason, its eyes literally don't work from the front visually without becoming nonsense. Its side profile should be the priority in "realistic pokemon".
Especially in an image that is literally from the fucking side; this is like detailing the hell out of the back of a toy and having all the screws in the front.
