As for the realistic Pokémon world team- I tried to go for relatively cool, good-natured mon that'd be easy to feed and contain. Sandslash is a small rodent that lives underground, so giving it a home would be insanely easy (even if it'd probably destroy my backyard) and feeding it would be very cheap. Also it's a fucking Sandslash, and super cool. Poor thing would probably have pretty malleable spikes due to the humidity, but that's fine he probably doesn't need to battle much anyways
Ampharos would start as a very small sheep, and even when it evolves I imagine it'd still be grazing, so feeding would be a cinch and caring for it would become easy with time. Most of its electricity would probably be redirected by Sandslash and Swampert (who'd be close by enough to absorb it, even if neither have lightningrod), and it's a pretty amicable Pokémon as-is, so it's another no-brainer. Mega's there because frankly I feel like i'd spend enough time with my team to warrant it, and Ampharos would definitely be one of my fighters if I ever battled
Togekiss is another really easy pick- fluffy bird with literal healing powers and a friendship-based evolution, it could easily perch atop my roof or in one of our trees and it'd probably be awesome to have on a team. Can imagine it being best bros with my Altaria too, singing duets or hunting for bugs together
Swampert is less obvious, but I live like half an hour away from a marsh and have a lake in my backyard so this big guy would totally be at home. Might also have a mega due to the whole closeness thing, but I prefer its base form so I didn't add it lol. Feeding would also likely be easy, and he'd give the best hugs. Also, good water transport
so I need a part 3
this is worth it I swear
