Up until gen 6, I've never had anyone to play Pokemon with. I would always hear about everyone's nostalgic trips with trading Pokemon with their Gameboy cables, or how they would always try to be better than their friends... how Pokemon was always such a bonding experience and a staple in their childhood.
I never knew what that felt like. I never had friends to play with. I never understood the childhood experience everyone else knew. I was always alone and I hated it, now I hear that you had a chance to keep someone else, your own brother at that, from feeling what I've always felt. Pokemon was special to him. It was special because of you.
