Older Yumes love Silver. However, Fujos and Yumejos tend to kill themselves around 30 - 35 years old, so the major population of Fujos and Yumes are always around 20 - 25 years old. They would've been 5 - 10 years old when HG/SS released, so it's more than likely that they don't remember much of Gen 4. Their first gen was probably Gen 6, maybe Gen 5. Neither of those gens have all that many boys that appeal to F&Ys, between them all I can think of is Marlon. Well, Marlon and Steven if you count ORAS.
