I remember having to take a couple of swings at this in vanilla but first tried it this time. Which is extra surprising as I'm not even using any of the gen 8/9 pokemon
I did however try out the Mega-Emboar for this fight and sadly it was pretty underwhelming. Moxie is a good ability, but Emboar is just too slow to really go crazy with it, especially as its best attacks do recoil damage so it doesnt live long. He'll probably be better with a choice scarf once I get one.
