If I make a fuckton of threads yelling about how Iris returns as the champion again in Gen 6 while people are still on the second gym, that spoils it for so many people. Even just casual matches, if I get my game and have 8 hours to train my Pokemon before my friend gets to a point he wants to battle, I'll probably be like 50 levels ahead.

You'd be some 20-30 year old loser carrying around a bag probably labeled MADKATZ or something just to play Pokemon. What kind of adult argument is that? Not to mention I literally said it was entirely opinion based. Some people don't want to look autistic in public. That's generally how some people think. Having my 3DS just in my pocket with games loaded up is a fuckton more discrete than carrying around something like this. Especially if you're already carrying around something else, or, you know, you just don't want some asshole to have easy access to a convenient way of stealing your 3DS along with your physical game in it.
