>>58545906There was a lot of odd stuff in the anime. Like for example it was fairly common in the beginning to reference real world weapons which implied that the pokemon world had them and likely militaries as well.
It makes sense in a way because the average pokemon is a superpowered monster capable of mass destruction so of course humans need comparably strong weapons. But it does seem out of place compared to the games and the implication of guns existing kinda makes you wonder about the point of pokemon trainers.
