The issue with these socks is that they're "somewhat furry".
I'd make some completely different sets: a "dog whistle" one, just colored like the eeveelutions (rings with their main colors on a sock colored like their associated environment, probably — would have to test a bunch of variants to see if these colors go well enough together) — and a "full furry" one, with stylized 'vees hugging the legs. OTK option for the latter.
