>>47401965It would be my favorite Johto starter if Feraligatr didn't exist. I think the fact that I like it despite that it's the worst in-game starter in the series has to be worth something. It's got a cute, simple monster design that outweighs how shit it is to use.

Aside from having bad matchups against all of Johto it just got really fucked over on its moveset. Even just getting Leech Seed outside of an egg move would have gone a long way. It really is terrible in-game, but it's cute so I can forgive it
