also yes, you can use acid downpour to change the field back to the first stage, but every time they use their shitty signature move, and every time a 'synthetic seed' pokemon comes in, the field will grow by another stage, and the only way to reduce it after that point is fucking cut, slash and psycho cut (also bitter blade, but lol)
