If you knock down 3 level 10 gyms you can wager you pissed off at least 10-15 people who take the game seriously and a few will retaliate
Also, someone could be backing you up, collecting and dying with the gym
If I see a level 10 gym with 1 shitmon, 9 slots (never actually seen that), I'll put whatever's lowest on my expectations in. Ie, if i think i can collect from 5 I'll put my 5th highest in. Unless I think the gym has a chance
By the time I level a valor gym from mystic to 10, I can expect 2-3 free slots will be filled with pidgeys, rapid, 1 good mon and god forbid a 900 hypno or tauros
