Instead of owning the campiness of it all, or making significant effort at improving things, they slap this self-referential garbage on and call it a day. Jan might be a dumbfuck, but Rejuvenation has made significant effort at improving itself and has gone through several major rewrites that Reborn was unwilling to do.
