I am about 80% in my first play-through of pic attached, and I need help understanding the "good guys'" point of view in the story.
So Team Plasma wants to separate pokemon from their human owners because they see it as, essentially, slavery. Really fucking good point imo.
However, it seems whenever Plasma's perspective is brought up, the good guys' only response is "That is wrong!". What?! They don't even try to provide any good reasons as to why Pokemon should continue to be their slaves. They just spout incredibly vague non-answers like "Pokemon and humans NEED each other", or "Pokemon and humans have depended on eachother since the beginning of time" or some bs like that. But that doesn't really seems to excuse the fact that pokemon are pretty much their slaves?
Am I missing something? I am only at the part where I fight Iris, the dragon-type leader, so do they explain it better later in the game?
