>thread questioni don't think any of them have any ancestry that's particularly of note. an idea i played with is that perhaps generations upon generations back bibi's mom's side of the family had some aura specialists in it, and because of that it started a habit/tradition of having a riolu as a starter, but those practices died out ages ago and the riolu bit breaks with bibi and fuecoco anyways so it's more just a fun bit of trivia and not really relevant in any way. i did make her dad tall, blonde, and willowy, so maybe there's a case to be made for there being some celestica background (so the same place of origin as volo/cogita/cynthia) up the family tree, but he lacks the trademark gray eyes. either way, both her parents are Paldean born and raised
Tesoro's mom is also Paldean but I toy with the idea that his dad was Unovan
I actually think Alto's parents were probably from Kanto or Johto and moved to Paldea when Alto was really young
