Everyone thought he would win after all the build up.
There's no real build up here because we KNOW Ash is going to fight against Leon, we just don't know when.
A real shitshow would be if Cynthia jobbed to Leon since she's a fan favorite and the defacto "strongest" champion in fan headcanon.
