Drew up a little idea based on Ayers rock. I thought it could be ridiculously high and have a natural pattern resembling aboriginal art to reflect its magical/spiritual power. It could turn out to be hollow like the pyramids in the plot or something

>>21117610The python similarity is intended, reflects Australias native snakes without having another serpent in the dex. And I'd rather it be properly goofy than aim for badass and just end up looking goofy anyway because of the rainbow.
My concern with the feathered look is that there isn't a great way to draw individual coloured feathers while keeping the pokemon vibe and allowing for spriting
Having said that, we might not even be using sprites yet, who knows. It'd be quite cool if we had our battles scenes with cartoon sugi art.
