While his goal lined up with that of Mega FUG, he was honestly the wrong choice for the job of stopping Masuda. His goal was so one track that when he had the power to rewrite Pokemon, he got exactly what he wanted from the beginning, to simply be with Lilligant, whether that be Galar, Alola, or an empty eternal void.
