Starmie are a strange wonder, I've had mine for about 10 years and there are still things I don't know about the things. They're almost like machines, capable of picking up and deciphering frequencies unlike most pokemon, similar to Porygon/2/Z infact, albeit they are more stable.
It picking up phone-stuff isn't abnormal, hell with the right equipment, Starmie are theorized to be able to pick up television signals.
Speaking of which...guess who decided to open up today a bit. Zygarde looks to taking a liking to the mansion, but he still does his meditations like normal. I got a boatload more oranges just for him...gotta stop my Weavile though since he loves the damn things as well.
