Working on a tileset right now, this is a Pokemon Center. Not sure if it will be GenIII or GenIV-style, I'm trying to do a little of both and add some detail.
The colors may seem a bit dull, but the colors used on this building are the exact same colors that will be used on the entire town as it is a very old fortress that has slowly become a town, yet the walls have never been torn down and this town is made out of the rocks that are in the surrounding area, therefore these colors because each area has its own color-palette to make it look more unique alongside the unique buildings that I won't re-use.
Unlike all the other buildings, the Pokemon Center you see here has a red roof and a small display with a Pokeball to make sure the players know this is the Pokemon Center, with the overlay fog to create lighting it'll glow too. I could animate it as well, done so with another display showing a Mawile for a candy-shop. Like in the anime, however, there will be a lot of different designs for these centers so this one is unique to the town I am making.
Any thoughts on this? Any way to improve it while keeping an old look to it? Is this too GenIII-ish?
