>>36842552Thanks for sharing, Anon! I like the different textures - lend to some very tactile images of it knocking its beak/preening its feathers/etc
>>36842659>What makes you like BW2 so much over the rest?I think it helps that I went in expecting it to be shit (having had a poor time with Diamond & skipping Plat & BW completely) & also haven't played anything in the series since. For all I know some of these may apply to the later gens too but I was a huge fan of: the variety & viability of random encounters (particularly early game); the habitat list; the changing overworld music; the 2D animations (even the shit ones); the postgame content; the PWT; the evil-team-returns-smaller-but-badder thing that GSC did
unpopular opinion: the plot of BW was naff & BW2 did the right thing having Ghetsis change strategy with Plasma so drastically; the rush & bustle of some of the cities (& the seedy corners & chilled havens off the main streets) which previous gens hadn't really managed; & a load of other stuff that makes it incredibly replayable for me & lets me actually complete Nuzlocke/monotype runs without too many headaches or too much repetition. Most of the franchise is great & Johto is where my heart lies, but BW2 are what I keep coming back to
tl;dr replayability &
comfy abstract-immersion
>>36842735Volcarona is wonderful. Did a monobug run of W2 not too long ago with a Larvesta starter - timing the Colress fight so my fluffball would evolve after sweeping the bastard was the most anime-tier hype I've reached in this series
Do you ever eat what you fish? Compete for big basses? Or is it just for fresh air & mood? Do you vidya while you fish or is that not really feasible?
