>>40028290Even if you get in without taking damage you only get two priority hits at most (SSSS > Full health Brave Bird > now you're damaged), and if you lead Talonflame you can't really sweep since their Talonflame counter is at full health. Talonflame always needed a lot of support but the Gale Wings nerf killed every set except SD Z-move and lowered the payoff you get for supporting it well. If anything I think they wanted to nerf Gale Wings so they could give it to another Pokemon down the line without it being completely broken.
