Everything about Chadziken's design screams aggression and function. Blaziken's face appears to be a mask with horns, which is cool as hell. Both typings make sense, and its powerful kicking is represented by its long powerful legs, which the Pokedex mentions can launch it over buildings. Blaziken's hollow bones make him light enough to glide through the air during its decent, using the aerodynamics of the hair on the back of its head. To aid in its punching power, flames burst from its wrists during combat to launch Blaziken's fists with more force. There's functional design everywhere.
Cinderace's design isn't bad, it's just way more obvious it was intended to be cute and pretty.
