>>55483733My guess is Digital World segments, given a part of the game's plot is developing a new city and we saw a virtual world simulation in the trailer. The MC is probably transported within the PC at certain points and as you progress in the real world, new portions are developed and real Pokemon (maybe even Pokemon released within the PC) are start appearing (maybe a code leak?) and you're allowed to explore different virtual biomes, similar to the Terarium in the Indigo Disk DLC.
It also lets them cover their ass when all the non-Lumiose sets are bare-bones and generic as shit, but that's okay because 'it's not the real locations! It's just a virtual simulation, so it's not as detailed!'
