If this game does well, do you think GF will alienate the Switch fanbase by making a Gen 8 that has 700 more pokemon, 700 more moves, loads more complex mechanics, wild battles, etc?
It just doesn't make any sense to do that. If I was in charge of Gamefreak, and saw how well LGPE was received, I would be sticking to producing simplistic games that I could churn out yearly for that guaranteed cash monies.
