>>56684962At this point I’ve played Gens 3, 4 & 5 so much they’re like comfort food. Any other game isnt just competing with 10 year old childhood memories but even more memories I made with them down the line, so yeah, i don’t think I can get the same SOVL feeling out of the newer games.
But I’ve played a good deal of rom hacks that still deliver what I like about those old games, they might not take me back in the same way, but they’re good fun.
Hell, I thought PLA was pretty good and SV was okay, a little flat but it rly picks up at the end.
