What will the X/Y metagame look like before Pokemon Bank is released on December 27? Since (as far as we know) there are hundreds of Pokemon technically not in the games yet, it isn't legal to use them in any sort of competitive battle, just like you can't use Pokemon whose DW abilities haven't been released.
There hasn't been a restricted metagame like this since 200 (R/S before FR/LG) so it might be interesting, even if it's only around for a couple of months.
Notably: Blissey, Ninetales, Breloom, Metagross, Latias/Latios, and Heatran aren't present.
