Something like this maybe, based on witches/fair folk/Baba Yaga. I assumed it'd just be comfortable crouching, but uncrouches to attack, since it's layer-thing helpfully obscures it's reach to the opponent. While crouching it gets around by hopping like some birds and rodents do.
Decided it'd be funnier being cute when not being whatever is expected of it.
