Add minor nerfs to steel and fairy
Types like ground, which are good but not overpowered, or types like rock, who are bad but not unusable, automatically get proportionally more balanced without changing them directly.
And you can do that without making drastic changes or without changes that make no sense, like giving ice 5 resistances for no reason.
>Fairy loses bug resistancePretty unnecessary resistance, if fairies do not resist grass, why would they need to resist bug? If the purpose of this type was to balance the meta, this is pretty unnecessary. Any reasons given to explain why does fairy resist bug, are forced and could easily not exist, the types should just interact neutrally.
>Ghost loses bug resistanceYeah right why would a ghost be bothered by a bug? Well that logic could apply to many other types but it isn't. Bugs barely have anything to do with ghosts, they could just hit eachother neutrally, and bugs would still be considered the weaker type its supposed to be.
>Ice gains bug resistanceIce sucks defensively because gamefreak intended it to be an offensive type. The only resistance that would actually make sense is bug, since arthropod biology is shit for surviving in cold environments. But wouldn't that be a nerf to the bug type? Not too much, since ice is still going to be offensive oriented and below average overall. Its better than being resisted by fairy and ghost for sure, and it also has a more valid reasoning.
>Grass gains fairy resistanceFairies would never harm nature, but not only that, the fairy is also kind of a "light type". If grass resists ground and water, resisting the light type makes a lot of sense.
