>>48974349>WallaceHis team - Wailord, Vikavolt, Ludicolo, Whiscash, Latios and Mega Milotic.
Lead Togedemaru to Nuzzle Wailord then swap to Ninetales but the absolute FUCKER swaps out, he is Scarfed but I didn't expect him to do that. Not a huge deal but now I need some luck, swap to Kommo-o, take Thunder and dodge Hurricane, then kill after a Shell Smash. For the record, had that Hurricane hit, that'd probably be end of the run. Gay, but whatever.
Latios comes out to promptly die, then Mega Milotic, a nice fatass Water/Fairy. I do want to try postgame fights, so Kommo-o's not dying here. I pivot to Decidueye who with a Choice Band rips Milotic to shreds, slams Ludicolo hard on its Quiver Dance before I swap to Sandslash for Ice Beam. Sandslash finishes the job as Wailord comes back to reset rain. I Sub to check its move, Weather Ball of all things, that means I win. Swap to Ninetales as Weather Ball becomes ice type, then two Freeze Drys finish off the rest of his team.
And that's game. I do wanna do some postgame fights before moving on though.
>>48972868Pay Day grinding isn't super fun, but that's an option yeah. Also not quite sure how many gentlemen trainers are rebattleable.
>>48973157Thanks bud. And yeah, fair enough, but IE gives you a lot of ways to utilize different playstyles. I used Hail for the E4 here a lot but I could've used terrains, Trick Room, etc.
>>48973803Not revealing anything, but Ultraviolet is a pretty old hack and it shows its age. If you're going to do "FireRed but updated" there's quite a lot of better hacks to pick from, like FRLG+, Nameless Fire Red Project, Yet Another Fire Red Hack or Last Fire Red.
