I had Specko try to paralyze the Mimikyu with Thunder Wave, but it had a Lum Berry, and then the damn thing nearly oneshots me with Play Rough, giving me the clue that it was Fairy Type.
Seeing how half my team is weak to Fairy, I knew I needed to paralyze it to win.
I switched Ted in, hoping that it would go for a Ghost type attack now that Specko was Fairy type and had low health, but it went for Play Rough again and oneshot Ted.
I sent in Frooty and oneshot its ally Banette with a Z move, but then I had to let him die so I could heal Specko.
Specko finally managed to paralyze it, but there wasn't much else she could do at this point, so I tried to hit it with Shadow Claw, but it was still faster even when paralyzed and killed Specko.
I sent in Scarlotte, but when Venoshock did a minute amount of damage I remembered that Ghost resists Poison.
She died to Shadow Claw.
It was only due to paralysis, Screech, and a critical hit Payback that Formidable was able to oneshot the Mimikyu and pull my ass out of the fire.
On the bright side, I caught a Klefki and named it Sora afterwards.
