I never thought much of it at first. I thought it was a cool mon with a great evolution. I enjoyed using Gliscor in Wi-fi battles, but that is the extent of it. Then I decided to use one as my starter for Crystal Clear and man, I did not regret it! It quickly rose to be one of my all time favorite Pokemon! I came to appreciate its design more, especially since its Gen 2 sprite is so good. Not only is its design good, it is pretty decent in battle, especially with an Eviolite! I used it whenever it was possible in any game afterwards and it is my current favorite Pokemon.
