Some pokemon can now merge their two types into combinational types. For instance, Swampert, as a ground/water type, can become the new combinational Mud Type. Magnemite et al., as another example, can become the combinational Magnet type because it is Steel/Electric. Combinational types have access to unique type relations whilst maintaining the stab of their base types.
