And even if the newer gens was all ugly shitmons, the old games are still there, romhacks still exist... You wouldn't throw away your entire comic book collection just because the newer arcs have fanfiction-tier writing
As for why I'm still on /vp/, a combination of autism, sunk cost, and battered wife syndrome is what keeps me here.
