>>51900126So I went against Falkner in a 2x2 using Totodile and Pidgey. I have played HGSS a lot but somehow I'm always caught by surprise by how bulky that Pidgeotto is compared to unevolved early game shitmons.
It was fun though, never thought battling >Falkner could be this tense. Had to switch between my two Pokémon to heal up safely and needed to whittle down its defense with Leer to start doing any decent damage. Out of fear of it using Roost I risked Pidgey's life Quick Attacking when a crit would kill him, but in the end everything turned out ok.
