Wait for about 3 seconds after trading starts and immediately close the DS containing the prized mon. [This step is important, mess this up and your shiny might be lost forever]
turn off your other DS and restart, the derp would be replaced by the clone of your designated mon. IF it doesn't work, redo the steps again.
