I would say Lycanroc is the only decent from the first island. Maybe Ribombee too but Cutiefly is really frail. Vikavolt is only worth it in USUM where you can evolve it sooner. In plain SM you have to wait till the final island so it's not wort it. If you count Alola forms, then get Alolan Muk.
Second island has some decent mons. Definitely get Mudsdale and Tsareena if you want a Grass type. Salazzle, Araquanid and Bewear are also ok. Passimian is also good but it's version exclusive.
After that point, only Mimikyu and Kommo-o are good. Dhelmise is ok I guess but it's a bitch to catch. Pallosand may be ok but I haven't used it.
