It won't if it's for mobile. Could be a name change for PokéLand which has been in testing for a while now and is based on Rumble.
It won't if it's for 3DS. It's a very simple game and most of the models exist to be reused so it would be simple "support" from Nintendo in the vein of Luigi's Mansion which is just a remake using the existing Dark Moon stuff.
It would, however, if it were for Switch. They aren't going to release two titles in one of their major series close together on the same system. They wouldn't have done that even in the past (there's a reason Smash on 3DS released before the Wii U version - releasing the Wii U version on the same day was one thing, but they weren't releasing them both on the 3DS at the same time that would've been fucking stupid and only served to damage sales of both on the platform), let alone now when they're purposely holding big titles for a trickle release once every month, month and a half.
