I would nerf it with a Psychic weakness and by losing the resistance to Bug. I don't feel like a Bug weakness would necessarily make bug types themselves better, given they usually have some sort of advantage of Fairies otherwise, but the resistance does suck.
I like all sorts of Fairy-type Pokemon. I think the only one I don't like is Zacian, who feels like they're only Fairy-type because it's a strong offensive type.
Regardless, it fulfills a unique sort of fantasy within Pokemon that I hope they lean into more.
