Oh yeah, Skyrim just doesn't hold a candle to Pokemon's intricate and complex dungeons like Reflection Cave, you can really tell that since GameFreak limited themselves to only making a simple, linear RPG that they could really put a lot of care and effort into these dungeons compared to those shovelware dungeons that the Bethesda dev team clearly just shits out with no effort.
The quest to stop Lysandre from blowing up Kalos for some nebulous reason nearly brought tears to my eyes, it's definitely far and away better than that shitty main quest in Skyrim where you stop Alduin from blowing up the world for some nebulous reason.
Anyway the only real reason I don't like the idea is because it's unfeasible due to how shitty of a developer Gamefreak is. Contrary to what people on 4chan seem to think all the flaws in Skyrim arn't really due to "incompetence" on Bethesda's part, but rather that open world games like Skyrim are really fucking hard and expensive to make (mixed with some amounts of "we need to appeal to casuals", but it's not like Pokemon doesn't have that itself anyway).
If Gamefreak made a game on the scale of TES you'd probably have the same flaws as Skyrim and then multiplied like a hundred times over. I mean, GameFreak fucking makes the most linear of linear kinds of JRPGs and yet I can think of several dungeons from Skyrim that are better than just about every "dungeon" in XY.
