I wish triple battles were the standard in-game instead of the exception. It would encourage players to actually build a balanced team that work off of each other's strengths and weaknesses, like the game promotes but is completely unnecessary in actual practice.
This next part could be my nostalgia talking, but I feel like the dungeons in the older games were more convoluted and mazelike and I wish to see a return to that. And if that's actually false I'd still like more involved dungeons anyway.
